Visit a local winery on a sunny autumn afternoon and many times you don't want that kind of day to end. But alas, you're brusquely informed that "the winery will be closing early" for yet another fall wedding and it's time to git along now...g'wan home...vamoose.
Pop-up restaurant king Sandy Talley (articles here and here and in the upcoming October 2012 issue of SLM) solved that problem--for one night anyway--next Saturday evening at Sugar Creek Winery in Defiance where he'll co-host a Harvest Wine Dinner.
Sugar Creek does not have its own restaurant so this will be a unique and one-time-only event. Talley's events are always memorable--and this one's popped up at a winery setting in the country, so the ambiance table has already been set. Plus, Talley is the ultimate host...he'd never dream of asking you to leave. Most likely just the opposite.
Dinner details are below.
